This thesis and design takes Ping'an Village and Ancient Zhuang Village in Longji Scenic Area of Guilin as the research object, based on the overall development orientation and ecological status quo of Longji Scenic Area of Guilin, combined with the concept of nature-based solution (NBS), planning and designing the space with Longji Village-Ping'an Village as the specific scope.
Based on the ecological, industrial and social characteristics of Longji Village and Ping'an Village, as well as the summary and analysis of Zhuang ethnic characteristics and culture, four problems are summarized: the ecological landscape of the site is under threat, the continuity of ethnic culture is weak, the homogenization of the tourism industry is serious, and the interpersonal relationship among residents tends to weaken. Therefore, we propose the four aspects of "ecology", "culture", "industry" and "society" based on "nature+", Therefore, it is proposed to provide comprehensive guidance based on the four strategic dimensions of "nature+", namely "ecology", "culture", "industry" and "society", and at the same time, the site is divided into three levels for planning and design: Macro-structural planning of the whole scenic area, further clarifying the positioning of Longji Village and Ping'an Village, deepening the interconnection of villages and towns in the scenic area; starting from Longji Village and Ping'an Village, readjusting the development structure of the two villages, and readjusting the traffic and land use in the area. From the Longji Village-Ping'an Village site, re-adjust the development structure of the two villages, and reorganize the traffic and land use within the site; focus on the detailed design of Ping'an Village and the Ancient Fortress's internal functional structure, land use layout, traffic system, landscape excursion, open space and architectural styles. Finally, it achieves the goals of ecological natural reproduction, social natural regeneration, industrial natural reconstruction, and cultural natural rejuvenation, and provides future design ideas for reference in the protection and development planning of traditional villages.
